Christian was born and raised in the islands of Hawaii. He attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he received a bachelor’s degree in American History. Christian worked in ministry and the non-profit world before receiving his JD and MBA.
Christian has a passion for the art of entrepreneurship and believes that business is the most creative force on the planet. He loves working with start-ups and new ventures.
Following his first year of law school, Christian spent the summer clerking for a firm in Northern California that represented technology companies. The experience of working in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment launched him into this career path. Back in Birmingham, Christian met Managing Partner, Josh Andrews, and volunteered with Gatehouse to assist with REV Birmingham’s Big Pitch. That experience lead to an internship, a clerkship, and eventually an offer, which Christian gladly accepted.
Christian married into a family of business owners when he said “I do” to the love of his life, Alexandra, the Co-founder and Creative Director of Stone Hollow Farmstead and Botanikō Skin.
Christian’s interests are diverse and range from surfing and fly-fishing to polo. In his spare time, he enjoys reading history, geo-politics and, of course, Hemmingway.
Christian’s legal practice is focused on providing comprehensive representation to business owners and entrepreneurs in areas such as:
- Business Acquisitions and Mergers
- Technology Companies
- Investment Capital for Businesses
- Intellectual Property
- Preventative law business consulting
- Business formations
- Business transactions
